Parmesan Bacon Chicken Salad

This Parmesan Bacon Chicken Salad is a copy cat recipe from one of our favorite restaurants in Indianapolis — Cafe Patachou! I like to use a rotisserie chicken which makes this chicken salad super easy to throw together and is perfect atop of lettuce for a salad, to eat with crackers, wrap in lettuce, or just eat it by itself! The parmesan and crispy bacon is such a yummy combination in this chicken salad!




  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crispy to make bacon crumbles, about 8 minutes. Place cooked bacon crumbles on a large plat lined with a few paper towels and blot away any residual bacon grease.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, salt and pepper until combined. Add the cooked shredded chicken, shallots, diced celery, parmesan cheese, and bacon. Mix to combine until chicken is coated with the sour cream and mayonnaise dressing.
  3. Serve on a bed of lettuce, as a sandwich, with crackers, or as a lettuce wrap.
