Need some healthy food inspiration to keep on track with your New Years resolutions? Here’s some inspiration for yummy gluten free and dairy free meals!
Whenever I get back from the holidays, vacation, or if I’ve just been indulging a lot I feel like I need to reset my body by eating clean, healthy, gluten free and dairy free meals. But that doesn’t mean boring! These are some delicious gluten free and dairy free recipes that you and you’re family will just love! These recipes below will feel like you’re indulging while staying on track with clean eating.
Dairy Free and Gluten Meals
30 Minute Sesame Ginger Noodles with Vegetables by She Likes Food – Gluten free and dairy free doesn’t mean flavorless and this recipe proves it. Love that it comes together in 30 minutes. You can add extra vegetables or tofu for more protein! This recipe is also vegan.
Coconut Tomato Curry with Cod and Brown Rice by Pass Me Some Tasty – Um hi, this looks amaaaazing. I’ve had major curry cravings for months and I love how this dish combines SO many ingredients that I love like fresh lime and ginger, coconut milk, and curry powder. This has major comfort food feels too. Can’t you imagine cozying up next with a warm blanket and a hearty bowl of this curry while watching some Netflix? That’s my kind of weekend right there.
Pineapple Fried Rice by Recipes from a Pantry – I love the pineapple twist on a classic dish like fried rice. Also? Fried rice is a great way to use up leftover rice from Chinese takeout! I love the idea of adding some protein like shrimp and I think eggs would work well too.
Vietnamese Inspired Noodle Bowls with Spicy Peanut Chicken by India from Indiana – This is one of my favorite meals on the blog and it is so freaking good! The rice noodles are tossed in a paleo nuoc cham inspired sauce and topped with chicken tossed in my favorite spicy peanut sauce, fresh jalapeños, carrots, mint and cilantro and squeezed with loooots of fresh lime juice. Majorly delicious. Majorly gluten free and dairy free. Major win.
Roasted Vegan Cauliflower Soup by Vegan Huggs – Creamy creamless cauliflower soup?! This looks amazing. I’ve actually been craving creamy cauliflower soup lately so will be making this recipe this weekend! Though I likely will be adding bacon so it won’t be vegan. Hey, when you’re craving bacon you gotta give in sometimes lol.
Sheet Pan Maple Mustard Chicken with Pecans and Sweet Potatoes by Running to the Kitchen – Sheet pan dinners intrigue me SO much (and kinda intimidate me?!) because of course I love the idea of getting a weeknight dinner on the table and only dirtying one sheet pan. This one looks totally scrumptious. Also do you see those pecans? They’re basically low key candied pecans.
Homemade Egg Drop Soup by India from Indiana – So good. So comforting. So perfect for cold winter nights. Whip up a batch of this soup in less than 30 minutes. Add cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken would be great here) for extra protein and to make it into a more substantial meal. I love all the fresh ginger, garlic and onion in this recipe.
Whole 30 Chipotle Burrito Bowl by Sunkissed Kitchen – I’m down for low carb Mexican food any time. This burrito bowl is packed with protein, healthy fats, and tons of veggies! This would be fun for a get together where people can customize their own bowls. To make it vegan, substitute the chicken for some smoky pinto beans. These bowls would go great with guacamole, easy tomatillo lime salsa verde , and of course margaritas!
Southwest Vegan Tortilla Soup by The Kitchen Girl – This southwest soup is made with everyday ingredients and pantry staples and if you start now it can be on your table in less than 30 minutes! Top it with some avocado and fresh lime juice for a lil extra zing.
Middle Eastern Lettuce Wraps (Whole 30) by What a Girl Eats – Sometimes I get tired by our usual rotation of comfort food, Mexican food, and Italian food and like to mix it up with Middle Eastern Food. Serve it with hummus and tabbouli!
Gluten Free Vegan Lentil Minestrone Soup by Moon and Spoon and Yum – Minestrone soup is an ultimate comfort soup. I wish someone would make me a pot of this to enjoy after being outside in the cold!
Cashew Free Butternut Squash Cheese Sauce by India from Indiana – Okay I’m totally biased but this is my absolute favorite dairy free/gluten free/vegan cheese sauce. I love to toss it with my gluten free pasta and broccoli for a healthy twist on macaroni and cheese.

Thanks so much, Lindsay! I hope you found some new go-to gf and df recipes 🙂
Love this soup. I use half the flour and it turned out perfectly for our preference. Thanks for the recipe. Everyone at my party loved it and ive made it twice since then. Frozen chicken is perfect for this recipe at four hours on high.
